Welcome to Kamiliko!

Kamiliko is a Swahili word that means directly, ‘completion,’ and indirectly perfection.

This is a life blog that focuses on the beauty and simplicity of the Arts in daily life. I share updates, experiences, tips, and lessons from and about those who are using their gifts and passions as a platform for ministry and what it takes to make your heart’s desire your bread and butter as well.

I talk about everything from music, dance photography, to cooking, poetry, and creative writing. Even going into a few topics dealing with faith and life. Whatever your interests are this is the place to be. Whether Arts are just you side hobbies or the very essential breathe of joy in your life, this is perfect place to find out.

I love how when we were kids and asked, ‘what you want to be when you grow up?’ We had the freedom of imagination; in our minds we could be anything that we wanted to be.

That is in essence what I want to recapture on this blog… You can be anything you want to be, and I want to show you what it takes to get there while sharing the result, the final product of artists.  So grab a cup of coffee, get comfortable, and read on!

  2. thanks for sharing. And Kamiliko, Swahili…wow, completion and perfection..the last time I saw those together was in Hebrew, for when Jesus said: it’s finished, that word was finished, but also root word with perfect (that is, to perfect something), and also root word with–get this: Bride! Check the blueletterbible to see this better. Love from Holland,
